Weeks wrap up

It’s been a week now since Sierra jumped out of the window. Since then she proved herself as being a tough doggie with 9 lives, a true Houdini, and a dog with severe separation anxiety. Her wound on her leg is slowly healing, and it doesn’t seem to bother her at all. She escaped from two cages that we bought to keep her in while were at work. The last time she broke out, we even had several locks installed on the cage to make sure she couldn’t get out, but she did. Now the cage has over 20 locks, and she seems to get used to the idea of her new cage. Yeah, not a fun week.
Work has been crazy. I have been ordered to spend most of my time at the location in Malibu, because there is a mass exodus going on at work, and I need to replace someone until they find replacement. They offered me the job, but I don’t want it. Now I’m doing a completely different job, have a longer commute, and am not being paid more. Sucks!
To end on a more positive note: early tomorrow morning (Friday), we are leaving for Carmel! We have a wedding to attend, and I’m really looking forward to getting away for a long weekend!

  1. I would like to point out the relativity of the statement: “I have been ordered to spend most of my time at the location in Malibu,”

    It could be SOOOOOOOO worse.

And can’t you and Fishering carpool? or is it a differnt location? (and I’m glad to hear that SIerra is doing better. What if you got a second dog? would her seperation not be so bad if she had someone there during the day?)

  2. Not that Bailey was ever the self-destructive type that had separation anxiety, but getting the cat has virtually guaranteed that she’s not bored during the day. Wanna add a cat to your family? They’re much more fun than they look like!
