3 Years!

Monday was our 3 year anniversary! I didn’t post about it earlier, cause we kept it low key this year compared to the other years (at one year we went to see Pavarotti at the Hollywood Bowl, and last year Fishering had the entire day planned as a surprise for me. It included brunch at The Ivy, a cooking class downtown LA, and in the evening to the Opera). Fishering just got back on Sunday, so the plans I made a couple of weeks ago for celebrating over the weekend couldn’t go through. Fishering also insisted not to get presents for each other to save money, so this year I actually listened to him and didn’t get him anything. He didn’t really expect me to hold him to the no buying thing so he didn’t expect to get something, and he got me a new Wilson tennis racket. Of course I feel bad now that I didn’t get him anything, but that’s what you get when you insist on something:)!
We went out for dinner at Cobras & Matadors on Beverly Blvd. We went there during our first weekend together, and the food was always wonderful. Hmm, not so much this time. I felt the portions were a little smaller, and wasn’t as blown away as I normally am. The cod crab cakes were awesome though! We normally sit outside, but they have a new rule: no alcohol outside, so inside it was. We still had a great time, and we got a little too drunk, but that was actually a lot of fun:)!
