Okay, I thought I had seen many movies the last couple of months, but of course most nominated films are not even out yet, or just got released.
My biggest surprise so far: Milk not nominated as Best Picture, and Gus Van Sant left out as Best Director! The best movie I saw this year was the French movie Tell No One. This movie was I think first released in 2006, but was in theaters in 2009, in the States at least…
Disgusted about: Mamma Mia…and Meryl Streep for her part in it! I LOVE Meryl, but I hated this movie and everything about it!

Happy about: Slumdog Millionaire nominated for Best Picture! Also glad to see Vicky Christina Barcelona nominated in several categories!
I guess I have to spend many hours in the movie theater over the next couple of weeks! YEAH! Award season has officially started!

  1. Fell asleep while trying to watch Mamma Mia, does that say enough?

  2. Major meh.

I totally agree with you on Tell No One—loved, loved, loved it.
